Carbon Emissions & Blake Lord

Since February 5th, 2007 Blake Lord has been carbon neutral.

We have achieved this goal in a variety of ways, including (but not limited to):

  • Blake Lord Green Plan (TM)a plan for every roof project that ensures carbon neutrality and maximizes the amount of recycling for the specific project
  • The purchase of RECs to offset kWh usage
  • The direct purchase of renewable energy
  • Numerous carbon offsets in regards to daily business activities (sales, travel, etc)
  • The planting of over 50 trees (in 2007) through numerous charitable organizations
